Galería Raíces to host closing reception for “Anaglyphs: Three-Dimensional Studies” on Feb. 27 in Presidio

Galería Raíces in Presidio is hosting the closing reception for its current exhibition, “Anaglyphs: Three-Dimensional Studies,” on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The exhibition, which runs from Feb. 1 through Feb. 27, features work by artist Lucatero and explores anaglyph imagery — images created by overlaying two slightly different views of the same scene in different colors, typically red and cyan, to produce a three-dimensional effect when viewed with 3D glasses.

According to event information, the closing reception will include wine and live music by Juan Dominguez, with the artist present.

Galería Raíces is located at 800 W. O’Reilly St. in Presidio. Gallery hours are by appointment, with additional open times announced when available. More information is available at http://www.galeriaraices.net and on social media at @galeriaraices.ptx.
