Landowners, real estate professionals and agricultural stakeholders across the region will have an opportunity to learn more about agricultural and wildlife tax valuations during an upcoming seminar hosted by Brewster-Jeff Davis AgriLife Extension.
The Far West Texas Ag and Wildlife Tax Valuation Seminar is scheduled for Friday, April 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Big Bend Telephone Community Room, located at 808 N. Fifth St. in Alpine.
Organizers say the program will feature presentations covering multiple aspects of agricultural and wildlife tax valuation, providing guidance and practical insight for property owners navigating rural land issues in Far West Texas. The seminar will also address nuances of rural land real estate transactions.
Real estate agents who attend will be eligible to receive five hours of Texas Real Estate Commission continuing education credit. The course is listed under provider number 10393-CEP and course number 35318-RECE.
The cost to attend is $10, payable at the door. Lunch will be sponsored by Capital Farm Credit.
