The Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend (FCCBB), in partnership with West Texas Opportunities (WTO), is accepting bids on four retired Ford Transit 350 passenger vans equipped with wheelchair lifts, according to information released this week.
The vehicles, previously used in the TRAX public transportation program, include two 2017 models and two 2019 models with mileage ranging from approximately 261,000 to more than 300,000 miles. Opening bid prices range from $1,500 to $3,500. The vehicles are being sold as-is with no warranty.
Bids must be submitted in writing no later than April 1, 2026. Interested buyers may mail, email, fax, or hand-deliver bids to the FCCBB TRAX Transportation office in Marfa. Vehicles are available for inspection at 1412 W. Berlin Street during regular weekday business hours, with weekend appointments available upon request.
