Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, mayor of Ciudad Juárez, visited Ojinaga on Sunday to meet with residents and discuss housing and regional development.
The meeting was held at Salón Los Arcos and drew dozens of attendees. Pérez Cuéllar outlined government efforts related to housing projects through Infonavit and broader strategies for economic growth.
He also addressed the importance of agriculture and livestock production to the region’s economy and emphasized cooperation between urban and rural communities in Chihuahua.
The visit was part of ongoing outreach efforts aimed at strengthening ties across northern border communities.
