Fort Stockton Public Library to host community game night Jan. 29

Fort Stockton residents looking for an easy way to meet new people — or just find enough players to finally get a game going — can mark their calendars for Game Night at the Library on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event, shared by the Fort Stockton Historical Society in partnership with the Fort Stockton Public Library, is open to all ages and is designed as a casual, come-and-go gathering where attendees can play board games, bring their own favorites, and connect with others in the community.

According to the post, the library will have board games available on site, but guests are welcome to bring their own games as well — especially if they have a game they want to play and need more players.

The organizers also encouraged anyone who simply wants to “break the ice” and meet new people to stop by and join in.
