Bread Garden Bakery will host a community dinner fundraiser benefiting the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, Jan. 21, with service running from 3 to 7 p.m.
The bakery said a portion of sales from its special event menu during the evening will be donated to the Alpine VFD. The event is part of a monthly giveback effort in which the bakery stays open later on the third Wednesday of each month and directs a share of proceeds to a different local organization.
Featured menu items for the Jan. 21 fundraiser include Philly cheesesteaks, lamb or brisket sandwiches, and a lamb or brisket arepa.
The bakery is located at 801 E. Holland Ave. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online at breadgardenbakery.tx.
