The Marathon Public Library has expanded its public technology offerings with the installation of two new computers in its Adult Reading Room, providing additional access for residents and visitors who rely on the library for digital services.
Library staff said the new workstations are intended to support a wide range of everyday needs, including job searches, email, online forms, research, and other essential tasks. The upgrade enhances the Adult Reading Room as a quiet, comfortable workspace for community members.
The Marathon Public Library offers free Wi-Fi, public computers, printing, copying, faxing, and notary services, along with books, DVDs, local newspapers, and programming for both children and adults. The library has become an increasingly important resource in a rural community where reliable internet access is not always available at home.
The library is located at 106 NE 3rd Street in Marathon and is currently open during regular business hours.
