Alpine Independent School District is recognizing Collette Sharron, a member of the Alpine High School Class of 2026, as part of its ongoing Senior Spotlight series highlighting graduating students and their accomplishments.
Sharron has been active in multiple extracurricular programs during her time at Alpine High School. She participates in the school’s band, where she plays the tuba, and is also involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA). Through FFA, she has shown livestock, including lambs and goats, and has served as her chapter’s Reporter.
In reflecting on her academic experience, Sharron cited Mrs. Reyna as her favorite teacher, noting that she appreciates being challenged and described her as “overall a great person.”
One of Sharron’s favorite high school memories came through her involvement in marching band, when she had the opportunity to advance to the state level with the Floresville High School marching band.
After graduation, Sharron plans to study education and hopes to pursue a career as a special education teacher.
Alpine ISD praised Sharron for representing Alpine High School with “heart, commitment, and Buck pride,” recognizing her dedication to both academics and extracurricular activities.
The Senior Spotlight series is part of Alpine ISD’s efforts to celebrate students in the Class of 2026 as they prepare for graduation and their next steps beyond high school.
