Marathon Public Library announced that its 2025 year-end fundraising appeal raised $20,000, thanks to community donations and a holiday matching challenge from the Carl C. Anderson Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation.
Library supporters contributed $15,000, which was supplemented by a $5,000 matching grant from the Anderson Foundation, bringing the total raised to $20,000.
According to the library, the funds will be used to expand programming, improve technology access, and maintain welcoming spaces that support learning, creativity, and community connection.
Library staff expressed gratitude to donors and partners for helping the library close out 2025 on a strong note and continue serving the Marathon community.
