Sul Ross State University Announces First Dual Credit Pedagogy Certificate Recipients

The College of Graduate Studies at Sul Ross State University has announced the first six recipients of its new Dual Credit Pedagogy Certificate, a credential designed to strengthen instructional skills for college-level teaching.

The inaugural certificate recipients are Michelle Markham Dugger of Kemp; Juan Fuantos of Eagle Pass; Karla Fuantos of Eagle Pass; Cody Santos of Eagle Pass; Stephanie Trevino of Eagle Pass; and Christian Rodriguez of Eagle Pass.

The Dual Credit Pedagogy Certificate is a new initiative developed in partnership with Sul Ross State University’s College of Education. The program requires completion of 18 credit hours in a teaching discipline, along with a capstone pedagogy course focused on effective college-level instruction.

The certificate program is supported by a Title V grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
