
The Mile High Fire Training School will return to Fort Davis from February 20–22, 2026, offering an intensive, multi-day training opportunity for firefighters and emergency responders from across the region.
Hosted in Fort Davis, the training school will feature a wide range of hands-on and classroom-based courses designed to strengthen operational readiness, safety, and leadership skills for volunteer and career firefighters alike.

The Fort Davis Fire Department, a volunteer department serving Fort Davis and surrounding areas of Jeff Davis County, is encouraging interested participants to sign in early and plan ahead for the February event.
