The Granada Theatre will host Soup Saturday later this month, offering the community an afternoon focused on food and connection at the historic downtown venue.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Granada Theatre, 207 E. Holland Ave. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of soups in a casual, come-and-go setting.
Soup Saturday is one of several non-performance community events hosted at the Granada Theatre, which has served Alpine since 1929 as a hub for arts, culture and gatherings. In addition to concerts and films, the venue has increasingly opened its doors to food-centered and social events.
Organizers describe the event as informal and family-friendly, aimed at bringing people together during the winter season in downtown Alpine.
