The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office hosted its annual county personnel luncheon Wednesday at Big Bend Post 79 of the American Legion in Alpine, according to a social media post from the department.
Sheriff Ronnie Dodson invited county employees and jail personnel to the event, which served as an opportunity to recognize staff and thank those who support day-to-day operations within the county’s law enforcement and corrections system.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to Angel Torres and members of the Brewster County Jail staff for providing food for the luncheon.
Photos shared by the department show county personnel gathered informally at the American Legion hall. The post did not reference law enforcement operations, enforcement activity, or public initiatives, focusing instead on internal appreciation for staff.
The luncheon is an annual event and is intended to acknowledge the work of county employees across departments.
