Chili cooks from around the region will head to Alpine this weekend for the West Texas Road Trip Chili Cookoff, taking place Friday and Saturday, December 12–13, at Skelton’s Runway, 300 South Cockrell Street.
Turn-in for Friday’s competition is at 6:00 p.m., and Saturday’s turn-in is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Entry is $30 per cook, and CASI rules apply.
The two-day cookoff adds another winter weekend event to Alpine’s busy calendar, drawing both seasoned competitors and first-time entrants. Spectators are welcome.
