A 19-year-old man from Ojinaga, Mexico, died Tuesday morning following a rollover crash on Highway 90 near Altuda, according to the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and DPS troopers responded to the scene, where all three occupants of the vehicle were transported to Big Bend Regional Medical Center for treatment. The 19-year-old was pronounced deceased after arriving at the hospital.
Authorities extended condolences to the family and friends of the victim and to the other occupants involved.
The crash remains under investigation, and officials say charges are pending.
