Tall Texan Distilling is closing in on its opening day as construction of the new Sanderson facility approaches completion. After months of steady progress, the building is now fully up and enclosed, marking the final stretch of a project that began rising vertically in late summer.
The first structural beams were set in August, initiating several months of framing, exterior work, and build-out on the distillery’s site. Since then, crews have continued pushing forward through fall, and as of November 28, the building structure is standing and interior work is underway.
Once open, Tall Texan Distilling is expected to become a unique addition to Sanderson’s growing business landscape, offering a new craft-focused destination in Terrell County. The company has not yet announced a specific opening date, but with construction now in its final phase, the launch appears close.
More details will be shared as Tall Texan Distilling prepares for its debut.
