Presidio to Host 2025 Red Ribbon Week Parade on October 30

The Presidio Independent School District Police Department invites the community to take part in the Red Ribbon Week Parade on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The parade will begin at the Presidio City Pool on the east side of town and conclude at UETA on the west end of O’Reilly Street. Line-up starts at 5:30 p.m., and the parade officially kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

The annual event celebrates Red Ribbon Week, a nationwide campaign promoting drug-free schools and communities. Residents, schools, and organizations are encouraged to enter floats or vehicles that showcase school spirit and positive, drug-free themes.

Rules emphasize safety, respect, and family-friendly fun — with no alcohol, stunts, or realistic weapon props permitted.

Organizers remind participants to “have fun, display your floats, and remember to stay safe.”
