Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society at Sul Ross State University, is hosting an Early Voting Walk to the Polls today, Oct. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Participants will meet in front of the University Center for a 20- to 30-minute group walk to the polls, followed by a stop at Scoops for a celebratory treat. The event is open to all students, and voter registration or early voting is not required to join the walk or the celebration afterward.
Organizers remind participants to bring a state-issued ID if they plan to vote. The event is funded through an institutional grant from the Office of Civic Engagement and Student Assistance.
