Planet Marfa to Host Annual Halloween Dance Party and Costume Contest

Planet Marfa will host its annual Halloween Dance Party and Costume Contest on Friday, October 31, inviting locals and visitors to join in a full day of spooky fun, music, and prizes.

The celebration runs from 1 p.m. to midnight, with live music beginning around 8 p.m. Performers include The Nightmares, Lurk Moth, and DJ Como La Flor, bringing a mix of live rock and DJ sets to the iconic outdoor venue.

This year’s event also features special “Ghost Hosts” from La Muerta Taqueria, who will be handing out cash prizes for the best costumes.

Planet Marfa, located at 200 S. Abbot Street, is known for its laid-back outdoor atmosphere and vibrant local events. Guests are encouraged to dress up, dance, and enjoy one of Marfa’s favorite annual traditions.
