Marfa Shorthorns to Host Rankin Red Devils for Pink Out Game

The Marfa Shorthorns are gearing up for a big night under the lights as they host the Rankin Red Devils on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Martin Field in Marfa.

The junior varsity game kicks off at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity matchup at 7 p.m. The event will also serve as Marfa’s annual Pink Out Game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Fans are encouraged to wear pink, be loud, and show their support for both the cause and their hometown team.

“Let’s pack the stands, make some noise, and support our teams!” the school’s announcement reads.

The Shorthorns will take the field against a tough Rankin squad, and the community is invited to come together for a spirited evening of football and awareness.
