The Red Pattillo Community Center will once again transform into a spine-chilling destination for Halloween weekend as Terlingua hosts its Annual Haunted House from October 23–25, 2025. This year’s theme — “Pet Cemetery” — promises to bring eerie fun and creative scares to the Big Bend community.
The haunted house will be open nightly from 6 to 9 p.m., with a suggested donation of $10 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Big Bend Citizens Alliance (BBCA) and go toward senior scholarships for local students.
Each evening will feature special events:
🎃 Friday, October 24 – Trunk or Treat for families and kids 👻 Saturday, October 25 – Costume Party for all ages
Organizers encourage visitors to come in costume and enjoy the spirited community atmosphere while supporting a great local cause.
The event is made possible through community sponsors, including Palo Verde Printing, Visit Big Bend, and the Terlingua Chamber of Commerce.
