The Alpine Police Department welcomed its newest officer, Michael Carrillo, during a swearing-in ceremony where he was pinned by his parents, including his father, Marfa Police Chief Gilbert Carrillo.
Officer Carrillo joins the Alpine Police Department after graduating from the El Paso Community College Law Enforcement Training Academy. The department shared the news in a social media post, noting the milestone moment for the new officer and his family.
