Dia De Los Quesos Returns to Alpine With Music, Food, and Festivities

The Alpine Humane Society will host its lively Dia De Los Quesos celebration on Saturday, October 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Alpine Civic Center, 801 W. Holland Ave.

The annual fundraiser features a silent auction, a queso and salsa contest, and plenty of live entertainment. Attendees can enjoy performances by Jon Deichmann of The Prickly Pear Boys from Austin, Rome Antenucci and Roasted Rat, and Grupo Alegre.

A pop-up bar by Alcove Social and a taco bar will keep guests refreshed, with Mo Moses serving as the evening’s special guest announcer.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Alpine Humane Society, supporting its mission to care for and protect local animals.

Contest participants are asked to pre-register by calling AHS at 432-837-3400.
