The Town of Van Horn is gearing up for its Hometown Fall Festival on Saturday, October 11, offering a full day of family-friendly fun, local entertainment, and live music at Veterans Memorial Park, 711 Honeysuckle St.
The event is free and open to the public, with fall activities beginning at 5 p.m. and live music kicking off at 6 p.m. Performers include Caleb Young, Keith Nieto, and Sunny Sauceda, bringing a mix of country, Tejano, and Red Dirt sounds to the stage through midnight.
Festivalgoers can enjoy carnival games, jumpers, vendors, and face painting, and are encouraged to bring their own chairs and beverages.
In addition to the music festival, the weekend lineup features Red Dirt Rumble rodeo events at 302 Jones St., including:
Friday, Oct. 10 – Bull Riding at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 – Team Roping and Goat/Lamb Show at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12 – Pig/Steer Show at 9 a.m.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together for “a celebration of local talent, tradition, and fall fun.”
