Authorities have arrested Arlie Sparkman, a Sheffield resident, in connection with the murder of Truman Harrison, who was also from Sheffield. The homicide occurred just the day prior, on September 25, 2025.
Sheriff Perkins extended his gratitude to the Texas Rangers, the Texas Ranger forensic team, and Pecos County deputies whose coordinated efforts led to Sparkman’s apprehension.
Sparkman was taken into custody and booked into the Pecos County Jail without incident. He remains under the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law.
