Alpine Public Library Hosts “Create a Mask” Fundraiser Workshop

The Alpine Public Library is inviting the community to get creative at its upcoming Create a Mask fundraiser workshop, happening Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Alpine Farmers Market, located at the Visitor Center (106 N 3rd St, Alpine).

This free workshop provides everything participants need to design their own one-of-a-kind mask. Supplies will be included at no cost, and local artists will be on hand to offer guidance and insight. The event welcomes all ages and skill levels, encouraging creativity, fun, and community participation.

Each mask created will be showcased and sold during Artwalk at the Alpine Public Library’s Silent Auction, with proceeds benefiting the library. The masks will go to the highest bidders, meaning participants’ creations will directly support the library’s programs and services.

Organizers encourage residents and visitors alike to join in, bring friends and family, and help raise funds for a vital community resource.
