Sul Ross State University announced that Eduardo Russo, Ph.D., professor of business, has been appointed Track Chair for the 2026 Academy of International Business – Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter (AIB-LAC) annual conference in Lima, Peru.
Founded in 1959, AIB is the world’s leading association of international business scholars, with more than 3,100 members across 93 countries. Since 2009, AIB-LAC has advanced scholarship and collaboration across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Russo will chair Track 8: Innovative Teaching and Research Methods in International Business, focusing on approaches that connect theory and practice. Topics include digital pedagogy, online teaching, experiential and case-based learning, cross-cultural curriculum design, the use of artificial intelligence and analytics, simulations and games, and innovative assessment strategies.
As track chair, Russo will guide the track’s scholarly direction, oversee the call for papers and lead the review process. The appointment underscores his leadership in international business education and elevates Sul Ross State University’s profile in the global academic community.
