The Sul Ross State University Women’s Basketball Team is rallying community support for its 2025 season with the launch of a new fundraiser through Schoolfundr.
Funds raised will go directly toward team apparel, equipment, tournament entry fees, travel, athlete snacks, and general team expenses—all essential elements to ensure student-athletes can compete at their best both on and off the court.
By using Schoolfundr, the program will keep 100% of every donation, meaning every dollar given will directly impact the Lobos.
“We want to make sure our athletes have the resources they need to shine brightly,” the program shared. “This is about more than basketball—it’s about building opportunities, fostering growth, and preparing our players for success.”
Organizers stress that contributions of any size make a difference. Alumni, parents, and community supporters are encouraged to donate and help make 2025 a memorable year for the team.
