The Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office will host its first-ever National Night Out on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the county courthouse from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The nationwide initiative is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, first responders, and the community. Local deputies, firefighters, EMS personnel, and surrounding agencies will be on hand to meet residents.

The family-friendly evening will feature free food, raffles, and live music.

National Night Out is supported locally by Sheriff Victor Lopez and the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office, with participation from Jeff Davis County Ambulance Service, the Department of Public Safety, U.S. Border Patrol, Davis Mountains Volunteer Fire Department, and other partner agencies.
