Marfa High School Prepares for Homecoming Parade 2025

Marfa is getting ready to paint the town purple and white for this year’s Marfa High School Homecoming Parade, set for Thursday, September 25, 2025. The parade, a highlight of the fall calendar, will feature Shorthorn pride at its best with floats, classic cars, athletes, and plenty of community spirit.

The lineup begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Marfa High School parking lot, where students, alumni, local businesses, and community supporters will gather to kick off the celebration.

Highlights of the parade include:

Organizers say this year’s parade is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with strong participation from across the community.

“This is more than a parade — it’s a celebration of our students, our traditions, and the pride Marfa has in its schools,” organizers shared.

The evening parade is part of the larger Homecoming Week festivities, which bring together current students, alumni, and the community to celebrate Marfa High School.
