The City of Pecos is hosting its second community event on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bessie Haynes Gymnasium, 800 E. 11th St. Residents will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on two new design concepts for the redevelopment of the 13.2-acre Bessie Haynes Park site.
Both plans were created using input gathered during the first community meeting and survey earlier this year. Attendees can share their thoughts on the proposals and vote for their preferred option, helping guide the creation of the final master plan.
City officials encourage residents to attend and participate in shaping the park’s future.
