The Averi Foundation is hosting the Averi 5K Run on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Floyd Gwin Park. The run begins at 6:30 p.m.
The event honors Averi, who passed away from childhood cancer at the age of five, and raises funds to help families facing the same battle. Registration is $40 per person and includes asado plates and Averi Foundation T-shirts.
Proceeds will directly benefit families affected by childhood cancer. In addition to the run, participants and supporters can enjoy BBQ chicken and sandwiches.
