Midland has been recognized as one of the top places in the nation for Millennials, boasting a median Millennial income of $124,354—the highest among the top 20 metros in a new CommercialCafe study.
The analysis ranked 103 U.S. metros under 500,000 residents, evaluating factors such as Millennial population share, income, cost of living, employment, and education. Midland placed #2 overall with a score of 72.93.
According to the Midland Development Corporation:
Millennials make up 28% of Midland’s population, the highest share in the study. The median Millennial income tops the national list at $124,354. Midland’s unemployment rate of 3% ranks as the fourth lowest among metros surveyed.
“Midland continues to stand out as a community where Millennials can thrive,” MDC shared.
