Fort Davis ISD secures nearly $1 million in grants with partner support

Fort Davis ISD has been awarded nearly $1 million in grant funding over the past year with the assistance of the Educational Research Institute (ERI), according to announcements from the organization.

ERI highlighted four separate grants awarded to the district:

Learning Acceleration Support Opportunities (LASO) Grant — $120,000 to provide targeted support to accelerate learning and improve educational outcomes. Interactive Online Learning Grant — $300,000 to support implementation of effective interactive online learning models. Texas School Ready (TSR) Comprehensive Grant — $478,745 to enhance school readiness for at-risk children. Texas Strategic Staffing Grant — $80,000 to design and implement sustainable, paid teacher residency programs.

In total, the grants add up to nearly $1 million in funding to support students, teachers, and the community.

ERI described the awards as evidence of the district’s commitment to expanding opportunities and resources and said it plans to continue working with Fort Davis ISD to pursue additional funding opportunities.
