West Texas National Bank Donates $10,000 to Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend

The Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend (FCCBB) received a generous $10,000 donation this week from West Texas National Bank, a contribution that will help move the organization one step closer to opening the doors of its new facility.

With construction nearing completion, the FCCBB is now focusing on raising funds to pave the front and rear parking areas of the new building. The donation from West Texas National Bank marks a major boost to that effort.

“We are so thankful for the continued support of our community,” the center shared in a public statement. “Every contribution helps us get closer to opening our doors and serving those in need in our new space.”

Representatives from both the FCCBB and West Texas National Bank gathered for a photo in front of the nearly finished facility to mark the occasion.

The Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend provides vital services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crises across a wide region of Far West Texas. Community members wishing to support the final stages of the center’s building project are encouraged to reach out to the FCCBB for more information on how to help.
