Texas Parks and Wildlife is hiring a full-time Maintenance Specialist III (Operations Ranger) for the Big Bend Ranch Complex near Terlingua. The role offers a monthly salary of $3,720.64 and includes benefits such as paid time off, retirement plans, and health coverage.
Working from the Barton Warnock Visitor Center, this position involves a wide range of maintenance duties including facility repairs, trail upkeep, landscaping, equipment operation, and visitor services. The role also includes basic plumbing, electrical, and janitorial tasks.
Applicants must have at least three years of facility, equipment, or grounds maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license is required within 30 days of employment. Substitution with up to two years of college coursework is accepted.
