Happening Today: Brisket Taco Fundraiser to Help Marfa Student with Cancer

Stop by the Presidio County Jail today, Thursday, August 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., for a plate of Sheriff Danny Dominguez’s famous brisket tacos—all for a good cause.

For just $15, each plate includes three tacos, beans, rice, and a drink. Every dollar raised will go toward medical expenses for Mariela Rojas, a Marfa Elementary School student recently diagnosed with cancer.

The event is sponsored by Thin Blue Line Charity, and the community is encouraged to come out, enjoy a delicious meal, and support a local child in need.
