Alpine ISD has announced the return of the Own Our Excellence Teacher Projects Fund for a second year, thanks to a generous $30,000 donation from the Prentice & Alline Brown Foundation.
The fund will sponsor more than 100 teacher-created classroom projects during the school year. These mini-grants, typically ranging from $100 to over $300, are designed to help educators bring creative, engaging ideas to life—enhancing student learning across the district.
District officials expressed their gratitude to the Brown Foundation for continuing to invest in the professional growth of teachers and the academic success of students. Teachers have been notified by email with information about how to apply.
