Alpine Animal Services Shelter is taking part in the 10th annual Clear the Shelters nationwide campaign, offering $50 adoptions for all pets during the entire month of August. The discounted fee is half the regular price and includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, and vaccinations.
The Clear the Shelters (CTS) initiative is a nationwide pet adoption and fundraising campaign organized by NBCUniversal Local, in partnership with NBC and Telemundo-owned stations and hundreds of affiliated stations. Since its launch in 2015, the event has helped more than one million pets find homes and has raised millions for participating shelters and rescues.
The Alpine Animal Services Shelter is located at 2900 Old Marathon Hwy, Alpine, TX 79830. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend visits are available by appointment if the Animal Services Officer is not on site.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet the adoptable animals, and help give them a second chance at a loving home.
