Pet owners in the Big Bend area can take advantage of free and low-cost veterinary services during the Terlingua Pet Clinic, set for August 30–31, 2025, at the Red Patillo Community Center in Study Butte.
Hosted by the Alpine Humane Society with support from Petco Love, Operation Kindness, and local sponsors, the clinic will offer a limited number of no-charge spay/neuter appointments for cats and dogs, along with wellness care, vaccines, and microchips.
Walk-in services from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day will include free vaccinations, free microchips, and low-cost heartworm testing and prevention.
The Red Patillo Community Center is located at 201 Rex Ivey Road, behind the post office.
