Viva Big Bend 2025 Set to Bring 60+ Shows to Far West Texas

The 14th annual Viva Big Bend music festival is returning to the region July 23–27, 2025, bringing more than 60 performances to venues across Alpine, Marfa, Fort Davis, Marathon, Terlingua, and Presidio. Produced by Texas Music Magazine, the festival has become one of the signature music events in rural Texas, attracting regional favorites, nationally known acts, and visitors from across the state.

Diverse Lineup, Iconic Venues

This year’s lineup features a wide range of genres and performers, from roots rock and country to conjunto, Tejano, blues, and indie. Notable performers include:

  • Bob Schneider (headlining July 26 at The Granada Theatre in Alpine)
  • Jon Randall and Red Shahan (at the scenic Cibolo Creek Ranch)
  • Jomo & the Possum Posse, Midnight River Choir, Tomar & the FCs, and Kat Hasty
  • Emerging acts like Dzaki Sukarno, Sour Bridges, and Stephanie Bergera

From small art spaces to open-air stages and historic hotels, the venues are just as much a part of the experience:

  • The Granada Theater, Railroad Blues, and Murphy Street in Alpine
  • Planet Marfa and The Pool Marfa (Hotel St. George)
  • Gage Hotel in Marathon
  • Starlight Theater in Terlingua
  • Audrey & Tyrone Kelly Outdoor Theater and Rendezvous in Fort Davis

Wristbands and VIP Access

Festival wristbands are available now at an early bird rate of $60 (+ tax) for general admission, giving access to all performances on a first-come, first-served basis. A VIP wristband, available for $105, includes:

  • Entry to all shows
  • A collectible 2025 Viva Big Bend poster
  • An invitation to a private VIP party on July 25 or 26 (location TBD)

Wristbands can be picked up at designated box office locations closer to the festival. Attendees must show ID matching their purchase to collect their wristbands.
