The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is now hiring for a full-time Food Service Worker III position to serve as waitstaff at the Black Bear Restaurant in Davis Mountains State Park. The job offers a monthly salary of $3,136.53 and includes full benefits.

The position involves serving guests at the on-site restaurant, greeting and seating customers, taking and delivering food orders, assisting with food prep, and maintaining cleanliness of tables and dining areas. Additional duties include dishwashing, cashiering, and accurately reporting collected revenue.
Applicants must have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a full-service restaurant
- A valid driver’s license
- A Texas Food Handlers Certification (or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
The job requires the ability to work split shifts and a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Staff must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle a fast-paced restaurant environment.
