Terlingua to Host 4th of July Parade and Celebration Featuring Chief Susan Martin as Grand Marshal

The Big Bend Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a lively Independence Day celebration in the Terlingua/Study Butte area, complete with a community parade, live music, and food at the TFEMS building off Highway 170.

The festivities will kick off Friday, July 4 at 6:00 p.m., with parade lineup beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Cottonwood. This year’s Grand Marshal is Chief Susan Martin, honored for her service to the community.

Attendees can enjoy live music, hotdogs, sides, and drinks following the parade. Organizers encourage residents and visitors alike to bring cash for donations in support of Terlingua Fire & EMS.

“Get your floats ready and come celebrate with us!” the Chamber posted. The event highlights local pride and community spirit deep in the heart of Far West Texas.
