Emergency personnel from Reeves County Emergency Services Districts Nos. 1 & 2 conducted a training exercise Friday at Balmorhea Lake. Officials emphasized there was no cause for concern, as the operation was a scheduled part of routine preparedness activities.
“These training sessions are an important part of how we prepare to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies in our community,” the department stated.
Crews regularly engage in exercises like this to maintain readiness for a variety of emergency situations. The district thanked the public for its continued support.
