Sunshine House, Inc., a senior citizen center and Meals on Wheels provider in Alpine, will host a special event to mark “Hug a Pet Day” on Wednesday, May 22.
Alpine Animal Services will bring a furry guest to the center at 402 E Holland Ave for attendees to meet outside. The event invites community members to stop by, say hello, and spend time with the visiting animal.
Sunshine House operates as a nonprofit organization supporting senior residents in the area through nutrition and social programs. The upcoming event is part of its ongoing efforts to offer engaging, community-focused activities.
