Texas Ranger Malcolm White visited local schools on Monday to speak with junior high students from across West Texas as part of the Big Bend Border Patrol’s START program.
White’s presentation covered the history of the Texas Rangers, modern forensic science, and crime scene investigation techniques. Students had the opportunity to see crime-solving tools up close and even practiced fingerprinting as part of the hands-on learning experience.
The event aimed to engage young students with real-world applications of law enforcement and public safety.
