The Davis Mountains Resort Volunteer Fire Department (DMRVFD) is hosting a Salsa Contest on Saturday, May 24 at 5:00 p.m., with cash prizes and a community dinner to follow.
Participants are invited to bring a pint or quart jar of their best homemade salsa to the DMR Fire Station by 4:30 p.m. Each entry should include a description, the entrant’s contact information, and a creative name for the salsa. Prizes are $125 for first place, $75 for second, and $50 for third.
After the judging, guests can enjoy a Mexican food dinner for $15 per plate. All proceeds will support the operations of the DMRVFD.
