Runners and walkers are invited to kick off Independence Day with the “Coolest 5K in Texas” on Friday, July 4, at Jeff Davis County Park in Fort Davis.
The event includes a 5K run and a 1K fun run/walk. Packet pickup and late registration will be held from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m., followed by the 1K at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
Online registration is available at personalbestevents.com or by downloading an entry form at fortdavisef.org. Participants may also register the day of the event. Checks should be made payable to the Fort Davis Education Foundation, the nonprofit beneficiary of the race.
