The Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI) welcomed students from the Girls’ School of Austin last week for an educational field trip exploring the region’s unique desert ecosystem.
Volunteer Hoot Baez served as the group’s interpretive guide, providing insight into the flora, fauna, and geology of the Chihuahuan Desert. The visit is part of CDRI’s ongoing efforts to connect students with hands-on environmental education experiences.
