Davis Mountains State Park welcomed Susan and Monica, the creators behind Two Chicks with Hiking Sticks, during their visit Friday. Known for their Facebook page and YouTube channel encouraging retired adventurers to explore state and national parks, the duo promotes the motto “it’s never too late to explore!”
This marked their first visit to the park, with staff noting it likely won’t be their last. A video about their trip is expected soon.
